Antithetical PLANET

by Harumi Sugimatsu

The idea which comes from a condensed pure visual deliberation always has to be fallen down and has to be rotated infinitely.
An expectation of a momentary relaxation of the view.
In this continuation from one side to another, a PLANET is configured as a possible cosmos. Namely, the PLANET for me is a symbol of an fixed star antithetically changing.
When the PLANET is continuously generated in the inverted world from the inside and reconfigured into the inside world to the outside, the PLANET expands to the eternal cosmos involving endless inversion and alteration.
Rilke chanted at the beginning of "Das Rosen - Innere",
Wo ist zu diesen Innen
ein Aussen?
Existence of roses represents both pure outside excluding inside and pure inside without outside. Consequently, purity of inside for Rilke inherently involves that of outside. Distinction of inside from outside has no meaning. Those who cannot be a plant living in a monistic world, are obliged to conduct internally in order to express themselves. Thus, our consciousness should be directed to the antipodal scheme, that is the antithetical PLANET. As result of falling down, tearing ourselves, and representing, my PLANET can be realized as an object conjecturing inside and outside.
"Antithetical" should, therefore, be associated with eternal satisfaction being emerged in conformity with extension of the limit of inversion. This infinite inversion can not be continued automatically, but bears emergence of the total cosmos, that is creation of a myth. It exactly be symbolized in "Un coup de Des Jamais N'Abolira le Hasards" by Stephane Mallarme in his later years. He had been liberated from a spell of mirror in "Igitur", and directed to his asterism. Mallarme wrote
AVeillant
doutant
roulant
brillant et meditant

avant de s'arreter
a quelque point dernier qui le sacre.
I should present my works as representation of the PLANET at this moment which continuously reconfigures itself without definition of destination or initiation.
